Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

Lemon law

I am filing a complaint against Ford Motor Co. under the lemon law. Is there any way to find out how and when Ford first got a complaint (cruise control kills engin when truck F-250 diesel roll faster than cruise is set) about this problem. The little research I've done says Ford is to report complaints to the National safety comittee on these type of complaints. I lost all power in a hair pin curve when the engin quit, if my wife would have been driving it would have caused a head on crash. Someone somewhere is going to get seriously injured from this. Ford, as of this date has no solution. And I have a truck I can't really drive safely. Thanks for your help

Re: Lemon law

I have handled a number of vehicular product liability cases, but I am not terribly well versed in lemon law issues. Nor do I think many lawyers know this area of law very well at all. I am not sure whether I am allowed to do this on this site, but I guess I will soon find out. Anyway, I suggest you contact an attorney whose practice focuses on that area of law and the one attorney who does so of whom I am aware is Peter Maier. Here is what Seattle Magazine recently said of him:

"Name: Peter Maier

Firm Name: Maier and Severance

Address: 705 Second Ave.

Phone: 206.623.2800

Law School/Grad Year: Harvard Law School, J.D., 1981

Notes:

Has successfully represented consumers in hundreds of lemon law cases, including Ford v. Barrett and Chrysler v. Flowers"

I do not know him personally at all so there is no point in mentioning my name, but I do suggest you contact him.
