Slip & fall
after a fall how long do I have to file a law suit? I was getting off a AMTRACT train, To
exit the train they sat a stool
on rocks that were along the tracks & the stool fliped & I fell & fractured my ankle. It still gives me fits. Thank You////////

Generally you have three years to file a lawsuit for personal injuries under Washington law. However, specialized federal law may apply to your claim based on Amtrak's involvement and time limits may differ from Washington's.
