Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington
My son and some friends were playing in our yard, they were all playing with sticks using them as swords when my son went to throw his stick at the knees of another kid who was much taller than him and let go to soon, the stick flew and hit the other kid right below the corner of his eye, since it happened on my property am I leagally responsible for his medical bills?

Yes you are responsible because your son caused the injury. It doesn't matter that your son only meant to hit the other kid in the knees under the legal theory of transferred intent.
