Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

Stepfather sexually molested me as a child

I really did not know where else to ask this, but 15-18 years ago my stepfather sexually molested a number of times of about a 3-5 year period. I have been trying to see if it would be possible and what kind of case I could try and bring against him were I live (Washington State, same as were the abuse happened) even though it has been 15 years since this happened. Also, what kinda of lawyer would I need to find if I am able to bring a case like this? Basically, I guess I just do not know what to do or where to even start on something liek this and just found this site. Thank you.

You may be able to bring a case against him and the hope would be that his homeowner's insurance would cover the loss, assuming it applied.

You should definitely consult with an attorney to discuss the particulars of your case. However, you likely are past the statute of limitations and cannot bring a claim.
