Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington
I am wondering if I have a case
On March 1 1998 purchased some bulk hamburger from Costco in Silverdale WA. After returning home I cooked 1 hamburger then ate it. I then went to package it into smaller portions, I then noticed an unidentifable substance in the meat. I took it to Costco, gave them the sample, they had it tested. The test results showed grease and metal shavings of various sizes. Costco response to me was "I'm sorry". I have no medical symptoms at this time, but have been having emotional problems due to this incident.

response to query whether you have a case
I recall an old case where a person had bought a beverage and, before drinking it, discovered it had a dead rodent in it. This so unnerved the purchaser that he was upset about it for days, and on that basis was able to recover damages. If you would like me to research the law on this I would be glad to do so, and I could also tell you whether I'd be willing to take the case on a contingency fee basis. Whether you have your own lawyer or wish to retain me, either way you will usually come out much better than if you represent yourself.
