Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Washington

Access to home morgage file documents.

The mortgage lender officer who is refinancing my house in my wife's name will not let me access my mortgage file which he has until I sign the quick claim deed to the house. Can he do this? It's my paperwork! It's like holding me for randsome.

Have your wife sign a release for you to be able to review the documents. This should resolve the problem.
