easement

does the establishment of an easement require a survey? for example access to a boat ramp on private property.

Not required but an awfully good idea.

Easements can be established by prescription - e.g. an established right that has been allowed over a period of time.

The goal of the easement has to be to allow ingress, egress and potentially utilities.

My question would be do you own the boat ramp? If not, who does? Is there public access?

Seems wierd to have a boat ramp without fairly obvious access. Hope this helps. Powell
