I am 15 day from buying 10 veiw ac. on lake Roosavelt WA with 50 + acrs. of Fed. Park Land between me and the Lake nice but the old road that runs though the parcal I need to post or gate can I legaly gate and or post my land to prevent the locals and the neighbor hood builder who has decided with the help of there church that has monoplized thr small growing town with the favor of the of the county ''taxs'' in there pocket. The U.S. fed. Parks dept. would be on my side to gate but the county & local cult I mean builder. Who buy the way purched the 300 + acers above me subdividing to 5s would love to advertize lake acess throught my property to lake. I pay top dollar for 10 nice acers on lake yet is it. with every one on my back and lit. in my yard. including the co. when I try to build ? ''Should I sign or not and can I legaly Gate my own property.

Do a title search. You are paying the big bucks to the title insurance company to tell you at escrow exactly what is of record on your deed, e.g. if there are any easements where your predecessor in interest granted somebody the right to ingress, egress and possibly utilities.
If the answer is not satisfactory, don't buy the property.
You also need to check with the Federal Park Service (or BLM or whoever the park is) to be sure there is no reason why you cannot gate your land.
If the answer from all your neighbors is "no easement", then yes, based upon the facts you provided here, you can gate your property.
But my answer could change radically if you provided more facts, so go meet with a local attorney with your documents and get a real, as opposed to virtual, opinion.
