Neighbor blocking view
We had a beautiful view when we moved into our home. It was a new construction. Our neighbors planted trees, after we moved in, that are now blocking our view. Our developement does have covenants to protect views however our back fence is the dividing line between two developements. The neighbors are in the other developement. Is there any way to force them to cut their trees?

In Washington, there is no right to have a view unless there is a covenant, zoning regulation or private agreement or other written and recorded restriction. The best course is to approach the neighbor yourself with a proposal to trim the trees to a certain height every year at mutual or your own expense and then get that agreement in writing.
