Is there a lis pendens recorded? Who recorded it?

Can you call them and ask them to take it off?

If they refuse you can sue them. Your damages are having the title clouded (as I bet you have noticed this is costing money).

If you don't own the home any more, the problem is the new homeowners. If you aren't a lawyer you can't sue on their behalf, they have to do it themselves.
