Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Washington
Removal of Free Standing Wood Stove by seller
The seller removed their wood stove upon vacating property. It was listed in all promotional material by seller prior to sale. Is the seller responsible for also removing the floor vent, ceiling vent plate and chimney above the roof required as part of the wood stove?

Re: Removal of Free Standing Wood Stove by seller
You need to write the agent/seller and complain. The sale included the wood stove, and the seller breached the contract by taking the stove and leaving a mess.
You need an expert wood stove person to tell you how much it is going to cost to fix this.
Give the seller notice in writing that he or she needs to remedy this issue promptly.
Hope this helps - Elizabeth Powell
