sale of personal property

My husband listed his motorcycle on Craig's list for $500. A guy gave him $250 yesterday ,and said he would bring the other $250 today and pick-up the motorcycle.

In the meantime, I decided I want to keep it. WE called the guy back to give him his $ back, and he says he wants it .

Can we renigh sp? on the deal.

You can breach the agreement; he can decide whether it is worth it to sue you over $250 or not.

When he comes over be prepared to give him his money and tell him that while your husband wanted to sell, you did not, and thus you are not consenting to the deal.

If he sues you you can explain what happened to the Court.
