Re: Seller breaches contract/Seller keeps down payment
What would you lien, exactly?
I see cases like this where the "seller" asks for more than the contract, and eventually the buyer breaches and within a short time is divested of the moblie home and ALL the money they have paid towards the mobile home.
What you should consider is talking with an attorney who understands real property and contracts, and getting copies of all the documents with your signature on them, and taking those documents with you for a consultation with that attorney and getting some very specific, detailed advice.
Stories like yours in my experience typically do not end well. Please get help sooner rather than later.
You get a judgment after a lawsuit. A lien on the seller's real property is not appropriate.
Hope this helps, Elizabeth Powell
