Verbal agreement money owed

Is a verbal agreement to pay additional monies on a real estate transaction made prior to closing enforcable in the state of WA after closing?

In WA, as in most elsewhere, oral contracts are valid. The trouble is proving the contents of an oral agreement, and proving that the parties agreed.

Many written contracts contain a clause stating that "this is the entire agreement between the parties" and that "outside oral agreements" are not part of the contract if not confirmed in writing. If this is in your contract, you will have a difficult time overcoming...
