Re: wrong email address resubmitting question
At this point in time, there is nothing you can do, based upon what you have told me, to avoid a lien from DSHS regarding the Medicaid financal assistance that she is already receiving. In fact, by putting your name on a deed of some sort, you could have jeopardized her ability to receive assistance in the future. If your name was put on a deed of trust, in what capacity are you so listed? If you were listed on that deed as a beneficiary, that could be a bad situation. It appears that you are too late to avoid a lien from DSHS but I really do not have enough detailed information to give you a proper response. You may contact me at my office on Monday afternoon, 8/8/05, after 2:00 P.M. if you wish to discuss this situation with me on the telephone, by calling me at 360-657-3886.
