Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Washington
photographs and harassment
My daughter provided nude photos of herslf while in an abusive relationship which she has since ended. In retaliation for refusing to respond to his efforts to communicate with her, he set up an email account pretending to be her and emailed the photos to her friends and a school professor. Does she have a legal right to control the photographs? Is there a legal response that she can make to his impersonation of her via email?

Re: photographs and harassment
Yes, she can attempt to obtain a restraining order and sue him for an invasion of privacy, and perhaps other things. This would require research.
Does the boyfriend have money to pay damages to her?
I only take this type of case on an hourly basis myself, but some attorneys may be willing to help out on a contingency (commission) basis.
