Legal Question in Tax Law in Washington
delinquent tax collection
Is there a statute of limitations as to how long the state can pursue collections of delinquent Labor and Industry employer premiums? Reports were filed in timely matter, although we have been unable to pay the full amount owing. No longer in business.

Re: delinquent tax collection
RCW 51.16.190 provides that delinquent premiums must be collected within three years unless a false or fraudulent return is involved. In the latter case, there is no time limit on collections.
