You may have misunderstood something about the ticket. There are no infractions that suspend the license upon issuance. Before you pay the ticket you should speak to a lawyer! There are many infractions that suspend the license when they are found 'committed' by a court, and payment of the ticket results in a committed finding. So often, paying the ticket is the worst thing you can do.
A lawyer who practices in your area may know a better solution, to protect your license.
