Legal Question in Traffic Law in Washington

Time Frame

Is there a time limit from the date of infraction to the date of court. Like 90 days. This is just a traffic infraction and there was no incarceration.

Re: Time Frame

Reckless Driving is defined as operating a motor vehicle with willful and wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property.

If you do not believe that operating a motor vehicle at a speed of 150 mph in a 60 mph zone meets the definition of reckless driving, you should be operating your "hyperspeed craft" in another galaxy.

By the way, there is another statute that specifically provides that speeding is prima facia evidence of reckless driving.
