How can I change my will so it includes both of my sons as equal beneficiaries?

You can have a new will drawn. That way you don't have to worry about the old will being probated.
If you call your local (County) Bar Association they can help you locate an attorney who can do this for you. If money is an issue, the Bar has a low income wills project that can help you have a will done for ten dollars.
A Durable Power of Attorney and a Health Care Directive will help your family look after you if you cannot, and that's more important to most children than anything they could stand to inherit from you.
