Blocked account

After my mother passed away, we suied for medical malprqactice, and we won. My money is locked away until i am 18. is there any way to gain acess to it before i turn 18?

Yes, if you become an emancipated minor and then petition the court.

Yes, but only with a court order.

Reason for the blocked account may be to avoid the posting of a bond. If you really need money, your guardian can unblock the account, but then bond would be required.
