Re: delcaration of completion

A Declaration of Completion of Probate is the last step in a probate action. It recites all the steps the administrator has taken to marshall the assets of the estate and to notify the creditors of the probate, and then arranges to pay the creditors.

Probate in Washington is either fairly simple, or really simple, depending on whether your daughter owned real property or not, and whether her estate was worth $60K or not.

But the fact that you are asking this question in this forum suggests that there is no probate.

The Court wants to make sure that third party creditors of your daughter's estate get paid. Not by you, mind you, but by your daughter's estate.

You might want to check with the Librarians at the Law Library to see if they have a form template you can use.

Hope this helps - Elizabeth
