Over Distribution of Assets

My father passed away four years ago. His wife of a few months is the PR. The will left her everything. To avoid a will contest, she entered into a settlement agreement with my brother and me. Her estate attorney is now claiming to have over distributed cash to my brother and myself over a year ago and is demanding we pay it back with interest. Do we have to pay it? I will have to get a loan...

There is insufficient information about what the distribution was and how it was documented. The language of the documents that supported the distribution would be controlling.
