Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington
Executor Rights
As Executor and oldeswt child in family, what are my rights as to the protection of personal property within the home after parent dies? How do I keep other children in family from coming in and taking things?

Re: Executor Rights
Your best bet is to immediately obtain your Letters Testamentary from the Court, i.e., initiate probate proceedings. At that time your are free to change the locks to the residence and ban others from entering the premises without your authorization.
