moms will

My mom died in may of 2004 she had a will which stated her residuary estate worth about $300,000. be distributated amongst myself and siblings. Nothing has been done about it, is there anything I can do or have I waited to long?

No, you have not waited too long, but the longer you wait the more chance of things getting screwed up. I have probated an estate where the decedent was dead for over 10 years before we filed, it is not ideal, but it does happen. Who is the named executor-personal representative, they should file for probate.
