Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

Hi my mother is now in a skilled nursing facility and has no way of getting to her bank because of her condition so what we would like to do is for me to be her power of attorney to access her funds for her...how can we do a notarizatiin if she's in a skilled nursing facility? Is there a way that an attorney can come to her so we can do a notarization for power of attorney?

An attorney can assist if your mother is able to understand what she is doing and communicate that she does. Many times, elderly people are not able to make decisions because of mental issues. It may be necessary to speak to her to determine if she has the legal capacity to sign a power of attorney.that would be recognized legally. Fee free to call me if you have further questions.
