Can a probait be closed without a lawyer?

Can I close my fathers probate with out a laywer if I am the court appt. Personal Repesentative of the estate even if the laywer did every thing else in the probate to do with filing all the papers with the court?

Yes, you may close a probate without an attorney. However, you should notify the attorney of your intentions and inform the court as well in the closing documents.....and make sure you do everything correctly. If not, there's no attorney to blame or seek reimbursement.
