If the adminstrator has not filed probate in 60 of death, can i come forward and file? if so can i file in the courts on my own or does a lawyer need to file? Also can we require a bond on the administrator if she is appointed?

You can always act as your own attorney but you know the old saying.

There is no deadline to file a probate. 60 days is not a critical date.

On the other hand, another interested party can commence a probate at any time. BE SURE you are in the correct county.

If you are a beneficiary and you are concerned about the administrator's conduct, you file a motion to ask the court to require the administrator to post a bond.
