I don't know what kind of a waiver you were being asked to sign for your father's estate. Without more information it is difficult to say more or speak to your brother's prospects of success in suing you. I don't like to give advice without more information than is provided here, but you should probably respond to the complaint paragraph by paragraph, you have five possible answers to each paragraph: admit, deny, admit in part and deny in part (then explain what you admit and deny), lack independent information to answer (don't know), vague (don't understand what the paragraph alleges). Not every complaint even if every fact is true supports a judgment, and other defenses may be available.
