Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Washington

Could a Trust be moved?

my father set up a 30 yr trust for my benefit with a bank named as trustee. Trustee has been unable to provide me with any customer service, poor accounting and unable to give detail accounting of the trust. I have moved to california and for the time(2 yrs) I hve been here the Trustee makes no attempt to contact me in regards to my concerns of the handling of trust. Would it be possible to move trust to be closer to me rather than 750 miles?

Re: Could a Trust be moved?

If the trustee is not communicating with you and administering the trust for your benefit according to its terms, this may be grounds to either (1) Remove that trustee; or (2) Require that the bank trustee shift administration to a branch closer to where you live.
