Legal Question in Workers Comp in Washington

L&i

I have a L&I Claim and it is coming to a close. I was wondering if L&I will make me pay back my medical bills associated with my L&I injuries? Will they take this amount out of my settlement?

Absolutely not. The settlement, or PPD payment is for the permanent disability you are left with after the injury is at maximum improvement.
