Legal Question in Workers Comp in Washington

time lost

i was resently written up for unexcused absents do to my work injury.Is a work related injury unexcused absence?The insurance company said they will cover the surgery for the torn ligament,but they wont pay to remove the sis that was found on the same knee.The said it was pre-exciting.I have no medical and it needs to be removed.

If your doctor says you could not work then it will be excused and possibly your time should be compensated. An unrelated condition is not covered generally, but if its existance will impede or pevent recovery from the woirk injury it MAY be covered, but it is not a definite right.
