civil summons

I received a civil summons for a credit card debt that I had accrued 4 years ago. I do not have the money to pay the credit card company without it causing a financial hardship on my family. What should I do?

Is this the only outstanding debt you have? Depending on amount I sometimes assist people in negotiating down % payments of CC debt, and avoid Bankruptcy. Call or email for further info.
