Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in West Virginia

owed money

Ex girlfriend borrowed $2500 dollars when her car was repo by the bank. She agreed to pay me back when she got a check that was coming in at the middle of the month. She kept putting it off and putting it off untill finally she stated to me that she had spent the money. I have the agreement, her continuing to tell me she intended to pay me back and a finally IM stating that she had spent the money. Is this enough prof that an agreement was made and will it hold up in small claims court? All the conversations were saved and printed out of my Yahoo Archive
