My oldest child, after living with me a year and go to school went into the principals office and told them me and my boyfriend beat them and my next oldest backed her up the cps came into my home and took my kids how do i get them back the oldest is 9 then 7 then i have a 2 year old please help us nowhere to turn cant afford a lawyer and he will lose his job because he has to take off work to do psychological evalution thats what cps wantshow do we get our children back?

The Judge in an abuse and neglect case will appoint a lawyer for you and another one for your boyfriend. Unless the abuse has been severe the WV Department of Health and Human Services will attempt to provide services (such as parenting classes and counseling) to improve the situation and put the family back together. Although their rules might seem petty and stupid, you have to obey them all, because obedience to the improvement plan is part of successfully completing it.
