Legal Question in Criminal Law in West Virginia

credit card felony

When I was 18 (16 years ago) I used my ex-boyfriend's credit card and was charged with credit card fraud. I have never been in trouble since then. Is it possible to have this removed from my record?

Re: credit card felony

Depends upon whether it was a misdemeanor or felony; a conviction involving the latter is not expungable

in Virginia except in the rare case where the petitioner can prove that he was wrongfully convicted and has received a pardon from the governor.

Va. Code Sec. 19.2-392.2 et seq.
