Legal Question in Criminal Law in West Virginia

I need help on deciding on what to do

My exgirlfriend killed her mother and I was there at the time this happened I helped her load her in the car in which she ran over the hill. She told everyone I did it in which my lawyer told me to take a plea saying i was giulty since I was there when it happend so I did. They got her with a plea agreement for 15 to life with mercey. The got me with 15 to life with mercey mine wasnt a plea. I was wondering what I could do that would help me when I go back for reconsideration that would help me get my sentencing lowered or would help me get in camp anthony?

This is not a question that can be answered in a forum such as this. You need a lawyer familiar with every aspect of your case and your personal history.

I'm not sure from your question whether you were convicted at trial or reached a plea agreement, but in either event, if you were found guilty of first degree murder it will take extraordinary circumstances for a judge to reconsider the sentence.

You need a lawyer. I assume you have an appointed lawyer and you should direct your questions to him or her. If you feel your lawyer has been deficient in some way, you should have your appointed lawyer ask the court on your behalf to appoint someone else. The court may not do this if it feels you have received adequate legal counsel but you have the right to ask.
