Motions

I need to file a motion in a case for a felony charge. The motion i need to file is to have the felony dropped to a misdemenor. I need some advice on how to do this. If you can help me that would be great.

First off you don't just file a motion and immediately have your felony get reduced to a misdemeanor offense...this is up to the DA and the Judge...what you need to do is retain an attorney to represent you before you screw this situation up any further.

You would be a fool to represent yourself through a criminal investigation and subsequent trial. The best possible time to have charges reduced or dropped is at the Preliminary Hearing or Pre-Trial Conference...in either case your attorney is the one who should be asking the questions.

The bottom line here is pay a few hundreds dollars now to protect your rights and possibly win your case or face risking 5 plus years behind bars.....its your decision choose wisely.
