Legal Question in Family Law in West Virginia

Bad representation by a lawyer...what to do???

We have been in a 3year divorce and custody battle. My lawyer has consistently missed turning important issues in.Today, I was told he did not turn in a summation that was due in in 20 days after our last hearing. My husband's lawyer did and the judge signed his. I am so upset with the system and this lawyer...who can I really turn to for justice. Is there justice anymore...my children and I have been put through a nightmare that is getting worse, and my husband and one of his mistresses started it all and he wants it all..and seems to be getting it...HELP

[I am not licensed in West Virginia, so your state's practice might differ from mine.]

Try calling the West Virginia State Bar Association. Tell the person answering the phone that you have a complaint against an attorney.
