Divorce - Custody and Protective Orders
My wife and I have protective orders against each other. btw - she is an attorney. I was thinking of just droping the order that I have and trying to work things out peacefully. She has comunicated a desire to work on our marriage through our oldest son so I am willing. If I drop my order against her but then she never drops her order against me, will there be any negative impacts on child custody issues? Currently we have an equal shared custody with her acting as primay custodian. Will I loose any rights if I drop my order?

Can't be certain you would lose, but it could hurt. More important than that, however, is that the two of you need to stop negotiating thru your son. Do NOT put a child in the middle like this. It creates tremendous conflict for the child. Get an attorney and use the attorney.

Protective orders are necessary to be perused.
Communicate through lawyer or attorney because they are very well awere of the legal effect and repercussion
