Legal Question in Family Law in West Virginia
dvp
My boyfriends soon to be ex-wife set out to locate us to start a fight. She even told his dad that she was going to hunt me down beat me up then run over me with her car. We did not know any of this until after the fact. She located us and he was talking to someone when he saw her with her head inside the passenger side car window yelling at me, he asked her to leave & to leave me alone she then got in his face hit him and he retaliated. He had bruises on him and she had a cut on her face but now he is the one in trouble not her. What can he do to help himself and get this warrant dropped. She set out to find us and start trouble and he tried to get a way from her earlier so that they would not get into a fight and nothing like this would happen, but she was determined to find us and not only that she brought their kids with her knowing she was going to start trouble. I hate seeing him in trouble just because he was trying to protect me from getting hurt and yet she is getting off scott free. Please tell us what we can do because neither of us can afford an attorney
