Legal Question in Family Law in West Virginia

Ex-spouse disclosing information

My ex was ordered to pay 5% of a suit he had started while we were married. That was almost 2 years ago and he is not telling if it is settled. My divorce lawyer is not pushing the issue to find anything out for me. I don't know his lawyers name. How can I find this information out? The government is involved so I don't know what level or where the case would be held. I do know what city his lawyer is in. I am at a loss and since he is not making his other monthly payments, I am getting financially desperate.

Re: Ex-spouse disclosing information

It should be a simple matter to contact the trial court clerk's office in the county where the lawsuit was filed and making an inquiry as to a case wherein your ex is named as the plaintiff and then obtaining the name, address and telephone number of the plaintiff's attorney

and the defendant's attorney. The plaintiff's attorney may or may not provide the information

but the defendant's attorney has no reason to withhold the information.
