trying to find out about a divorice

I am trying to find out if a devorice by public notice is final or if there is any way to find this out on the inter net . I have the the date that it was filed and in the state of Texas i know it takes 90 days after a devorice is put in the news paper before it becomes final but i do not know the laws in W.Va. and the devorice is me and what i am hoping to be my ex husband . It was filed on or before April 16, 2001.Can you please help me .

I do not know West Virginia law.

A divorce in Texas must be on file a minimum of 61 days before it can become final. It does NOT

automatically become final after that time.

A divorce is not final until 30-days after a judge signs the final decree of divorce.

Therefore, based on the facts you presented you cannot assume that you are divorced.
