Lawyers going to call filing null/void

My husband filed for divorce over a year ago. He will not pursue the divorce. My lawyer and my husband's lawyer want to call his filing null and void. Will I still be able to get child support if they do this? I don't want the divorce so I won't pursue the case either. Should I file for legal seperation instead?

The decision to file for divorce or separation, or neither, is personal and should be arrived at after an in-depth consultation with an experienced matrimonial attorney.

If you are not living together, you can seek child support and spousal support in the Family Court, or its equivalent in your state.
