Legal Question in Family Law in West Virginia

legal seperation

My son and daughter in law are legally seperated. He has been living with a brother while paying all the bills at his home plus extra child support. He also has joint custody of the children. His wife has recently purchased another vehicle. My question is will this be considered part of their assets or does it belong to her only? She also plans to sell a car that hey purchased together
