What are the laws in west virgina that pertain to the state taking custody of a child. When one parent lives in west virgina, and the other in Michigan. The parent (dad) in michigan has legal custody. The (mom) lives in west virgina, with the child. The child is living their only for tempory circumstances. The mom is the one trying to give the state custody.
