Civial Action Judgement

I had a judgement in 2000 against an ex for loan repayment. Payment were to be made every two weeks but were not. Is it too late to file a civil suite to at least recover 5,000 of it?

The statute of limitations upon judgements in West Virginia is 10 years unless a Writ of Execution is issued and the statute is 10 years from the issuance of the writ.
