Legal Question in Immigration Law in West Virginia

I have Dual US and Thailand citizenship. I do not own a US passport and my Thai Passport is from when I was adopted in 88'. Can I move back to Thailand and Renounce my US citizenship or do I need a US and new Thai Passport

I would assume that Thailand would require a valid passport for entry. You do not need a U.S. passport to relinquish U.S. citizenship, since your naturalization certificate is already evidence of that.
