Procedure after Complaint filed

What is the normal procedure after a medical malpractice lawsuit is filed? I have answered Interrogatories submitted by the defendant's attorneys several months ago. What happens next?

It sounds as though you are not represented in this suit. If you are represented it is not appropriate for me to respond to your inquiry. The process of maturing a medical malpractice for trial is one of the more complicated and difficult matters a trial lawyer will undertake and it is not likley that a layperson could do it successfully. I suggest that you retain counsel as soon as possible, even if you cannot find a lawyer who will take the matter on a contingency fee basis.
