Legal Question in Personal Injury in West Virginia

Desperately seeking advice

I am a 21 year old full-time college student and waitress. In November of 1999 I was involved in an automobile accident. This accident was not my fault, the other party was cited. However I have injuries. I was sent to Ellicott City to a neurosurgeon. My doctor gave me a 30% Permanent Total Disability. With my being so young and basically uneducated in this area I need help on what to do.

Re: Desperately seeking advice

Since the accident was not your fault and because you sustained injuries, you are entitled to compensation from the insurance company of the wrongdoer and perhaps from you own under insured or uninsured motorist coverage. A lot more needs to be known for a lawyer to represent you effectively. You should call and consult. This is what is known as a fee generating case and you should receive a free consultation in the office. If you retain counsel, you will be able to hire him or her on a contingency basis. There are limitations in time for your claims and compensation. You should not delay to find out what your rights are. Tom Zimmerman
